What is more important for IAS Prelims preparation; quality or quantity of studies?

Quality of hours put in studies is more important than quantity of hours given to studies. Your time and energies should be used in an efficient and effective manner.

Answer correct is more important than answering all the questions asked in the exam. So, always try to maintain quality in your preparation. Most importantly, while preparing for the 2012 Prelims, read and understand the Prelims question papers (Paper I and Paper II) properly. Some additional topics were included in the PT 2011 syllabus. And CSAT is a whole new inclusion in the PT by the UPSC. You will answer to the questions of GS paper with new inclusions and CSAT for the second time if UPSC publishes its notification with no changes in 2012. However do not forget to follow the instructions of the question papers while answering.
