World-Class Teacher Training in Punjab: An Inspired Future through Knowledge

Singapore-, Finland-, and IIM Ahmedabad - trained teachers; innovative teaching paradigms revolutionizing classrooms

Punjab teachers are now being given world-class training under the visionary education policy of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. As CM Mann explains, "Teaching is not just a job — it's a commitment to shaping the future."

Until now, 234 school principals and education officials have already been dispatched to Singapore to learn international models of teaching. Yet another 152 school administrators received advanced leadership training at IIM Ahmedabad, while 144 primary school teachers were trained in specific skills at the University of Turku, Finland.

You can really see the impact of these initiatives in the classrooms. Teachers are now adopting interactive, dialogue-based learning methods and using technology-driven tools that make education more engaging and meaningful for students.

To relieve the administrative burden of teachers, the government has recruited 1,920 campus managers so that teachers can concentrate solely on teaching and learning.
