Eligibility: 3 / 4 years Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent with relevant work experience.
Engineering / Economics / Commerce / Management / Computer Science Graduates will be preferred.
Candidates appearing for their final year Graduate degree Examination are eligible to apply for the admission.
Admission Procedure: The admission will be done through a 3 stage process.
A candidate seeking admission in XISS, Ranchi will have to clear the All India level Management Admission Test organized by XLRI Jamshedpur (XAT 2014 to be held on 5 January 2014) / IIM Indore (CAT 2013 to be held between 16 October 2013 and 11 November 2013) / AICTE, Delhi (CMAT Sept 2013 ).
Candidates will be shortlisted and called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on scores obtained in the All India Management Entrance Test (XAT / CAT / CMAT) and their academic record.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be held between 17 February 2014 and 9 March 2014 at Bangalore / Kolkata / Mumbai / New Delhi / Ranchi subject to sufficient number of candidates at each location.
Application fees: Application fee of Rs 1500 + Service Charges (for those applying for One Specialization) / Rs 2000 + Services Charges (for those applying for 2 Specialization) is Non-refundable. It can be paid either through online mode or through offline mode through a Demand Drat.
Online Payment: Fees can be paid online through Credit Cards / Debit Cards / Net Banking.
Offline Payment: A Demand Draft for the concerned amount drawn in favor of "Xavier Institute of Social Service", payable at Ranchi should be sent to “Admission Coordinator, Xavier Institute of Social Service, Dr. Camil Bulcke Path (Purulia Road), Ranchi - 834001, Jharkhand” so as to reach the Institute within 15 days of making the online application.
Candidates must right their Name and XAT / CAT / CMAT ID / Roll No. on the back of the bank draft.

A candidate can apply for maximum 2 specializations.
Candidates willing to apply using scores for more than one entrance exam will have to submit separate application for different entrance exams i.e. if a candidate wants to apply through both XAT 2014 and CAT 2013, s/he will have to submit two different online applications at XISS by making separate payments for both the applications.
