The XLRI-Xavier School of Management is going to host the '6th National Industrial Relations Conference' on 11 and 12 January 2014 at XLRI Campus, Jamshedpur.
The two day conference is to observe discussions on some of the most stimulating issues and topics, related to 'the changing workforce and transforming industrial relations scenario' in the current times.
It also aims to enlighten some of the most relevant aspects of management in an era of globalization and the varying expectations and ambitions of the employees of today.
The conference is organized by XLRI’s students committee-FIRE@X. Fire@X deals with subject and matters associated to industrial relations, and through this conference the committee shall see the presence of the leading names from the industry, academics and advocacy.
The professionals and other dignitaries are to meet and talk on their knowledgeable views on issues that infect the industrial relations in the country.
Pranabesh Ray, Dean of XLRI praised the today’s youth to have focused and picked on these issues and started on questioning the current thought leaders to spread wakefulness about the topic of the present changing workforce.
He also marked that this effort of students to bring together the leading industrial personalities and some of the most experience professionals in the field of Industrial Relations, is a creditworthy task.
XLRI’s Students run FIRE@X team is one of the few committees across country’s B-Schools that completely pay attention upon the promotion of industrial relations, by actively playing their role in conducting and organizing events that in turn is witnessed as a source of promotion for Industrial relations.
