Deadline is nearing for free adhaar card detail update. Those who havent updated their aadhaar card yet must get it done by September 14. After this date, a fee will be required to update your Aadhaar card, so it's important to update it in time. Aadhaar cards issued over 10 years ago can currently be updated for free, but only until September 14.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended this deadline multiple times before, but after the 14th, you’ll need to pay ₹50 for any updates. If your Aadhaar needs updating, now is the time to do it without any charge.

However, for certain updates like biometric details (fingerprint, iris scan) or changing your mobile number, you'll need to visit an Aadhaar service center. But for identity and address updates, everything can be done online quickly and easily.
How to Update Your Adhaar Card Details Online?
Here’s how you can update your Aadhaar details online by following the given few simple steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI, myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
Step 2: Login using your Aadhaar number and the OTP received on your registered mobile number
Step 3: Review the identity and address information printed in your profile
Step 4: If the information is correct, click on 'I verify that the above details are correct'
Step 5: Select the required documents from the dropdown menu for identity and address verification
Step 6: Upload the required documents. Keep in mind that each file should be less than 2 MB and should be in JPEG, PNG or PDF format.
Step 7: Review your information once again and submit for Aadhaar update.
Central government introduced Adhhar Card in India on January 28, 2009. The aim of introducing this card was to make it a primary identity document and can also be used as an alternative to other identification documents, such as the PAN card and Voter ID card.
