British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton won 2015 Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix title

Lewis Hamilton of Britain and Mercedes racing driver on 12 October 2015 won the 2015 Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix title. He defended the title at the final race held at Sochi Autodrom in Sochi, Russia.

While Hamilton topped the table, Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel (Germany) and Sergio Perez (Mexico) of Force India stood at second and third positions respectively.

It was the ninth title for Hamilton in the 2015 season as he won the titles in Australia, China, Bahrain, Canada, the UK, Belgium, Italy and Japan prior to the present victory.

Hamilton won more races compared to any other British driver in the history of Formula 1 One and currently tied for fourth position with Sebastian Vettel on the all-time wins list, with 42 wins.
