The Company Law Board (CLB) on 1 March 2012 returned the petitions of Telenor and Unitech for technical errors. The CLB asked the joint venture partners to sort out all the differences on their own rather than litigate.
The companies would appear before CLB now on 13 March 2012. On 24 February 2012, Norway-based Telenor and its Indian partner Unitech had moved petitions before the CLB to remove or restrain each other's representatives from Uninor.
The two partners have been at loggerhead since the Supreme Court's verdict of quashing all 122 2G licences allocated by A Raja in January 2008.
