PM Modi inaugurated Semicon India 2024 in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This three-day event is dedicated to the semiconductor ecosystem. According to a report by Invest India, the Indian semiconductor market, currently valued at around $23.2 billion, is projected to reach $80.3 billion by 2028.

President Draupadi Murmu presented the National Florence Nightingale Awards for the year 2024 to nursing professionals at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Conservation and Breeding Centre for Asian King Vulture was inaugurated in the Campierganj Range of Gorakhpur Forest Division in Uttar Pradesh. The facility has eight staff members, including biologists and scientists.
