The official song for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup football tournament was formally launched on 4 September 2017 by the Local Organising Committee and Sony Pictures Networks India in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The song, "Kar Ke Dikhla De Goal", is written by lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya and is composed by Pritam.
In addition, the song features a host of music artists that include Sunidhi Chauhan, Neeti Mohan, Babul Supriyo, Shaan, Papon, Mika along with a rap performance by actor Abhishek Bachchan.
The composition of the song puts forward the vibrancy and uniqueness of India while resonating with a global audience simultaneously.
About 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup
• The 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be the 17th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the U17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
• The tournament will be hosted by India between 6 and 28 October 2017.
• This will be the first FIFA tournament hosted by India.
• The final will be held at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on 28 October 2017.
