The Forbes magazine released 100 most Innovative Growth Companies List on 28 May 2014. New Zealand software accounting firm Xero topped the list with an enterprise value of 4.4 billion US dollars.
The nine Indian firms have made it into the list. Godrej Consumer Products topped among the Indian firms and was ranked 31st with an enterprise value of 4.25 billion US dollars.
Other Indian firms on the list include ABB India (rank 37), Marico (rank 53), United Breweries (rank 60), Siemens India (rank 63), Asian Paints (rank 76), Nestle India (rank 78), Colgate Palmolive India (rank 87) and Divi's Labs (rank 99).
The list has been made on the basis of Innovation Premium which is a measure of how much investors have bid up the stock price of a company above the value of its existing business based on expectations of future innovative results (new products, services and markets).
