Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda, the London paralympics silver-medallist and Padma Shri awardee was appointed as the brand ambassador of nutrition company Herbalife on 15 February 2013.
Herbalife is a global nutrition company that appointed Girisha as the brand personality. As per the agreement, Girisha will endorse Herbalife products such as Afresh Energy Drink Mix and Formula 1 Nutritional Shake.
This is said to be the first corporate sponsorship for Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda. Girisha’s first achievement in an international event came at Junior World Championships for the disabled in Ireland in 2006 where he won bronze medal.
