Telegram May Ban in India: The CEO of Telegram, Pavel Durov, has been detained in France, which has sparked severe concerns about the messaging app's operation. Over the years, the company has been accused of facilitating illicit activity on its platform. 

Durov was arrested earlier this week by French authorities on suspicion of abusing children and breaking the nation's regulations regarding app moderation. 

India to Likely Ban Telegram

In the midst of the Telegram craze, some media reports say that the Modi government is looking into the platform and may likely implement a ban on the messaging platform. 

Central Government may take other necessary measures to stop illegal activities including the distribution of child pornography and adult movies.
