Piramal Enterprises acquired Caladryl from Valeant Pharma

Piramal Enterprises has acquired Caladryl from Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc in India.

Piramal Enterprises Limited acquired OTC skincare brand Caladryl in India from the Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc on 1 November 2013. Earlier, Caldryl was owned by the Valeant Pharmaceuticals from 2012, when it acquired the rights for the product from Johnson and Johnson. Piramal Enterprises Ltd. was formerly named as Piramal Healthcare Ltd.

Basically, the Caladryl is an anti pruritic solution, which is known for the dermatosis application for minor skin irritations and itching. At present the consumer products of Piramal includes the Itchmosol and Supractiv Complete, lacto Calamine, Saridon, i-Pill and some other brands like Jungle Magic, Tetmosol and Triactiv.
