David Attenborough has been conferred with the Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development 2019 for his lifetime worth of work to awaken the mankind to the need to preserve and protect the planet’s biodiversity and stop being a “plague on earth”.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella topped the list of Fortune’s Businessperson of the Year 2019. The list comprises names of three Indian-origin people. Besides Nadella, the two others are Master Card CEO Ajay Banga and Jayashree Ullal, Head of Arista.

India is at the seventh place in the list of 10 countries affected by terrorism. The list released by Forbes said that 350 people died and 540 were injured in 748 terror attacks in the year 2018.

India played its first-ever pink ball test match on November 22, 2019 against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

11. (b) Manu Bhaker 
Manu Bhaker created history by winning India’s first gold medal in the women’s 10m Air Pistol event at the 2019 ISS World Cup at Putian, China. She has become the second Indian to win gold at the 10m air pistol event at the ISSF World Cup Final after Heena Sidhu.

12. (b) Google Stadia
Google Stadia, Google’s new game streaming service has been launch in 14 countries across the world including the US, the UK, France, Germany and Spain. The cloud-based game includes a total of 22 launch titles.
