The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is gearing up for the 2025 Delhi Assembly Elections with high hopes of continuing its legacy in the national capital. Known for its focus on education, healthcare, and public welfare, AAP has established a strong presence in Delhi politics over the past decade.
With its leader Arvind Kejriwal at the helm, the party has gained significant popularity for its governance model and grassroots approach.
With the stakes higher than ever, the AAP aims to address pressing issues, introduce innovative policies, and build on its achievements in areas like public transport, water supply, and housing.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its second list of candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections, scheduled for February 2025, bringing significant changes to its lineup. The ruling party has replaced candidates in 20 of the 70 constituencies, including dropping 13 sitting MLAs. These adjustments reflect AAP’s strategy to strengthen its position in the upcoming elections.
Manish Sisodia and Rakhi Bidlan, two prominent sitting MLAs, have been assigned new constituencies, Jangpura and Manipur, respectively. Meanwhile, Avadh Ojha, a well-known UPSC coach and motivational speaker who recently joined AAP, has been chosen to contest from Patparganj, replacing Sisodia. Rakhi Bidlan, who has won the Mangolpuri seat three times, will now make way for Rakesh Jatav Dharamrakshak to represent the constituency in North West Delhi.
