The Revolutionaries movements of the Indian Freedom Movement are comprised of the actions of the underground revolutionary factions. The groups of revolutionary movements were mainly concentrated in Bengal, Maharashtra, Bihar, the United Provinces and Punjab.

In the beginning of the 20th century, the armed rebellion against the British rulers was not organised. The Partition of Bengal in 1905 laid the foundation of the revolutionary philosophies and movement. It was Aurobindo Ghosh, his brother Barin Ghosh, Bhupendranath Datta, Lal Bal Pal and Subodh Chandra Mullick initiated the revolutionary activity against the tyrant British rule. They formed a Jugantar party in April 1906 AD as an inner circle of the Anushilan Samiti.
