The Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards are a symbol of excellence in the international aviation sector, recognizing airports globally that deliver superior customer experiences. Based on data collected from ASQ's demanding Departures and Arrivals Surveys, these awards honour airports that surpass passenger expectations.
Introduced in 2006, the ASQ scheme has now emerged as the premier passenger satisfaction benchmark, with more than 400 airports signed up in 110 countries. With Amadeus, one of the well-established technology corporations offering software solutions for the travel and tourism industries, ACI World annually honors airports that demonstrate unrelenting passion for quality of service with the ASQ Awards. The Significance of the ASQ Awards
Receiving an ASQ Award is a big deal for any airport, as it shows a dedication to making passengers' journeys enjoyable and memorable. Not only do these awards reward past achievements, but they also encourage airports to keep on improving their services and facilities.
The ASQ program gives airports useful information and insights into what passengers expect from them, so they can know where to make improvements and adopt measures to raise the overall quality of the passenger experience. Airports can use the ASQ program to benchmark their performance relative to their competitors, monitor how they are performing over time, and make good investment decisions about infrastructure, technology, and staff training.
The ACI ASQ Awards are an important instrument in upholding excellence in airport business, encouraging a culture of improvement, and guaranteeing that passengers are provided with the best possible service. As the aviation business continues to progress, the ASQ program will continue to be a crucial instrument for airports in delivering superior customer experiences and retaining competitiveness.
