The Mensa society welcomes a new member, and this time, the member is way too young! Yes, a six-year-old girl has made it to the Mensa society, which stands as the oldest high IQ society all across the globe. The six-year-old from New Jersey becomes the youngest member of the society.
Declan Lopez, a six-year-old, has an IQ score of 137. No wonder the tiny tot is being compared to one of the most strong-minded people of the 20th century. While the average IQ score of people under age 64 is 109, the IQ score of the six-year-old stands at 137, proving her exceptional intellect.
The young child's mother Meachel Lopez has expressed that the prowess of the child had surprised the parents from a very young age. It has been expressed by the child's mother that the child was able to speak Mandarin when she was just 18 months old, and was able to hold her bottle from the very first day.
Ms Lopez further described her daughter as just an amazing little child who can teach one everything about the subject matter that interested her. The parent further said that she has gone through considerable extremes to gratify the kid's thirst for knowledge.
Meanwhile, Declan expressed that when she learns something novel, it feels exciting and silly.

Not every day is the same for Declan. Her family intends to teach her a different subject each day of the week. For instance, Mondays are fixed for art, while Tuesdays are for science.
While her parents have planned the week for the young one, her school is no less in supporting her. The little girl also actively participates in social activities such as music theory, soccer, karate, and more.
Her mother has expressed that the parents aim to build a healthy social life along with academics.
What does the six-year-old want to become when she grows up? Well, the tiny tot has expressed her desire to become an actress, an astronomer, a teacher, and a surgeon.

The highest recorded IQ in the world is 228, owned by Marilyn Vos Savant. The woman made her name in the Guinness Book of World Records in the year 1985 due to her exceptionally high IQ.
