The University of Bangalore has released the Final year examination time table for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Students who will be appearing for the uG and PG programme are advised to visit the official website of the university to check the exam schedule.

The University of Bangalore has released the Final year examination time table for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Students appearing for the undergraduate and postgraduate final year examinations are advised to visit the official website of the university to check the revised schedule. 

According to the dates provided on the schedule, the Bangalore University UG and PG exams will be conducted from September 2020 and will continue until October 2020. Students appearing for the examinations can visit the official website to check the complete schedule.

According to reports,  the decision to conduct the final semester exams was taken after the Supreme Court verdict was announced with regard to the universities and other institutions to conduct the examinations for the final year students. The SC further added that the institutions cannot promote the students based on the internal assessment of the students and other criteria.  

According to the decision taken by the university the affiliated colleges which have been identified as exam centres are to get a PPe Kit ready along with face shields, hand sanitizers and hand wash for the safety of the students appearing for the exams. 

Special exams will also be conducted for those missing the regular exams in September. With this the students who have gone back home and are unable to return to take the final exams will be able to appear for the special exams to be conducted.

According to reports approximately 700 students are from countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the Middle East who have gone back home due to the pandemic. Bangalore University ViceChancellor Professor KR Venugopal stated that the decision to conduct yet another round of exams will be made in December. The university is also in the process of issuing letters through their colleges to get their Vis extended. 

Apart from Bangalore University other universities across the state including the Allahabad University, Mumbai University, Lucknow University, BHU, and others have already released the schedule for the final year exams to be conducted in the Open Book Method.
