Sathyabama University welcomed cricketer Jasprit Bumrah on the occasion of Fresher’s Day recently. University Chancellor Dr Mariazeena Johnson, and President Dr, Marie Johnson greeted the cricketer with a traditional welcome ceremony. University Vice Presidents Mr J Arul Selvan, Ms Maria Bernadette Arul Selvan and Ms Maria Catherine Johnson were also present at the event.
Students of the university were especially thrilled to meet the World Cup-winning cricketer, his presence adding a unique charm to the event making it a much-remembered day for every student.
The cricketer interacted with students during the event and shared words of encouragement inspiring them to chase their dreams with passion. His visit has left a lasting impression on the Sathyabama community marking Fresher’s Day 2024 a memorable event for all.
