The increase in the pass percentage has also made a difference in the lives of 16,864 students who move to the next grade this year itself.

The CBSE conducted the class 10 and 12 compartment examinations on September 22, 2020, at the 1,268 examination centres across the country amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and the guidelines issued for conducting the examinations.

The board also provided a chance to the class 12 students to appear for the exams in case they were unsatisfied with the marks awarded based on the alternate assessment scheme set by the board keeping in mind the pandemic and lockdown which forced the board to cancel the exams.
