DU Semester Exams 2020 Postponed: Delhi University has postponed the final semester/term/year examinations which were scheduled to be held as Open Book Test for Regular, SOL and NCWEB students in July. The news was confirmed by varsity through an official notification published on du.ac.in.  The notification also said that the DU Semester Exams 2020 which were to be held in OBT format stand postponed currently, for both undergraduate and postgraduate level students. The notification states that the exams have been postponed for next 10 days in the light of prevailing COVID-19 situation. New or Revised Exam Datesheet for DU Semester Exams 2020 will soon be notified by the examination branch of the varsity after thorough consultation with the necessary stakeholders.

Revised Datesheet to be out on 3^rd July 2020

According to the official notification also confirmed that Delhi University will release the revised examination datesheet for DU Semester Exam 2020 on 3^rd July 2020. Examination for all UG and PG students of Delhi University will commence from 10^th July 2020 onwards.

Exam to be held as Open Book Test

The notification also confirmed that the postponement of the Delhi University Semester Exams is being done considering the hardships that may be faced by the students, if exams are held as per the current schedule. However, the University also confirmed that the Examination would still be held as an Open Book Test and all the guidelines and advisories issued earlier for the Open Book Test Examination format will be applicable to revised or rescheduled examination as well. The notification also confirmed that no special guidelines or notifications will be issued regarding the examination to held hereafter, apart from the revised datesheet.

Open Book Test Mode Mocktests from 4^th July

For 2020 session, the Delhi University has decided to hold the final semester exams in the form of an open book test for the students. To help familiarize students with the open book test format, DU will enable students to take mocktests for the same from 4^th July 2020 onwards. A separate notification shall be issued by the examination branch regarding all the details of Mock test before the commencement of the test.
