HRD Minister launches CBSE's Online Teacher Training Course On Experiential Learning on DIKSHA Platform

CBSE's Online Teacher Training Course Launched: HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal â??Nishankâ?? launched CBSE Boardâ??s Online Teacher Training Course On Experiential Learning via DIKSHA Platform. The course is developed by CBSE in association with TATA Trust and is available completely free for all teachers online via ministryâ??s DIKSHA platform.

CBSE’s Online Teacher Training Course Launched: HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ launched CBSE Board’s Online Teacher Training Course on Experiential Learning via DIKSHA Platform. The course is developed by CBSE in association with TATA Trust and is available completely free for all teachers online via ministry’s DIKSHA platform. At the launch event, HRD Minister said that the course on Experiential Learning will help board usher in new teaching pedagogy that will equip teachers with 21st Century Skills, which will ultimately be transferred to the students who they teach.

Course Launched in Collaboration with CBSE and Tata Trusts

The online learning course launched by CBSE has been started in association with Tata Trusts. The course is aimed at both teachers and even the leadership team at schools including principals, as it aims to transform teaching pedagogy followed at school from text book driven to experiential. He also added that ““I would request them all to join this incredible course. Let’s strive to make the learning process for our students more joyful, reflective, and multidisciplinary.”

Free Course Available on DIKSHA

The CBSE’s Online Teacher Training Course on Experiential Learning is a completely free course and a mandatory one for all CBSE school teachers. Teachers will have to take up the course via DIKSHA platform by download the app and sign-in through their accounts. Upon completion of the training programme, teachers will be awarded a certificate of completion of the court once they are through with it. CBSE will also conduct regional webinars for the hub leaders or lead collaborators in the same.

About the Course

CBSE Board, in its official circular about the Online Course on Experiential Learning said that the across the world, educationalists have agreed that experiential learning holds the key to holistic development of students, especially when it comes to education that prepares them to challenges of a different world to come. In line with this, the free online course launched by the CBSE Board will promote experiential learning pedagogy in schools.
