The Assam HS Class 12 exam 2025 was held from February 13 to March 17, 2025, in two shifts on all days. The first shift was from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift was from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

The students who wish to get the Assam HS 2025 answer sheets rechecked need to pay Rs. 500 per subject.  The re-checking and access to the scanned copies of their answer scripts can be done through the official ASSEB (Div-II) website.

UPOLOBDHA is an app that is available only for Android users who have appeared for the Assam HS exam 2025. It helps the students of Assam HS result 2025 for the following: 

• Candidates will be able to view and download their mark sheets.

• It further helps candidates to get other exam-related information.

Candidates who wish to apply for Re-checking of their Assam HS 12th answer script 2025 and/or obtain a scanned copy of the answer script must do so through the official ASSEB, Div-II (formerly AHSEC) website:  ahsec.assam.gov.in.The application portal will be available from May 2, 2025, which is two days after the declaration of the HS Final Examination 2025 results (declared on April 30, 2025).

In 2024, a total of 88.64% of students successfully cleared the AHSEC exam. Out of 2,73,908 students who appeared, 2,42,794 passed.

An eligible candidate can appear for the Assam HS regular examination in the year immediately following the year in which they received a Pass, Repeat, or Compartmental status, as stated in their mark sheet.

For the Compartmental and Betterment categories, the candidate will be given only one opportunity to appear in the next examination.

Candidates whose Assam board Class 12 HS 2025 results have been withheld will have to contact the Controller of Examinations to get the results declared. However, the concerned candidates will have to apply formally through the Head of the Institution.The withheld result will not be declared if the candidate does not apply within 30 days from the day of declaration of result.

The stream-wise overall pass percentage has dropped this year for all the streams this year. The pass percentage of this year and last year is given below in the table.

• Arts stream shows gender gap with females achieving 82.95% pass rate compared to 78.42% for males.
  

• In Commerce, the difference is marginal, with females slightly ahead (82.40%) of males (82.08%).
  

• Science stream results show that the females outshine boys by securing 85.54% while males have managed to secure 84.39%.
  

• The Vocational stream shows the widest gender gap, where female candidates achieved a 74.39% pass rate, significantly ahead of males at 65.53%.

The Assam Board Arts pass percentage for Assam HS result 2025 stands at 81.03%

After the announcement of the results, students will be able to access mark sheet online on the official website. However, these marksheet will be provisional until the original mark sheet is available in the schools. The marks sheet available online can only be used by students as a reference until they receive their original mark sheet.

Candidates will need to log in by using their credentials and roll number. Once you are logged in to the app, click on the link that says ‘Get Results’ and check your marks in a second.

Assam has seen a consistent increase in pass percentages over the past three years, especially in rural areas. Female students have often outperformed male students in several districts.

The Assam State Education Board (ASSEB), will declare the Class 12 results today. Students can check the Assam board Class 12 HS results on the official website after entering their login details. As many as 3,02,420 students appeared for the Assam board HS exam this year.

The AHSEC will declare the HS Class 12 results for over 3,02,000 students who appeared in the exams held from February 13 to March 17.
