ICAI CA May Session 2021: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the CA Final, Intermediate and PQC exams date. As per the dates, the exams will commence from 5th July 2021. Students under the old and new course of ICAI CA final and CA intermediate programmes can appear for the exams from 5th July. For post-qualification courses (PQC) including that of Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical examination and International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT - AT) will also start from 5th July. CA examination for THE May session can be checked at - icai.org. However, the detailed schedule is yet to be announced by ICAI.
Earlier, the examination for the May session was postponed. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and considering the hardships the students are facing, ICAI had postponed CA Intermediate and Final exams. The ICAI CA Intermediate exam was scheduled to begin on 22th May and the final exam was scheduled to be conducted from 21st May.
ICAI CA 2021: Other Dates
Along with this, the Institute has also extended the deadline for the completion of orientation course or IT training by CA students till 30th June 2021. Earlier the deadline was 31st May 2021. Students will have to complete Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) consisting of Information Technology Training (ITT) and Orientation Course (OC) each of 15 days before registering for practical training.
About ICAI CA
The Institute of Chartered Accountancy in India conducts all the CA exams. It is a national professional accounting body in the country. Members of the institute are referred to as Chartered Accountants or CAs. The professional body conducts CA examinations in the country twice a year. There are a total of 3 CA levels or examinations namely CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final.
