Understanding the ICSE ISC Syllabus

Students must know the complete syllabus to understand the paper pattern and questions that can be asked. The ICSE ISC syllabus includes the units and chapters to be covered. Prepare a timetable to be followed daily. Make a list of all the subjects to be covered. Having a balanced study plan is the key to scoring highest in term 2 ISC ICSE board exams. Tough subjects can be allotted more time, and a little less for the one which seems easier. Mix it up, take breaks, solve papers, revise, play memory games and get back to studying. Make sure that the study plan is not too intimidating because that will ultimately prove to be counter-productive in the sense that it will urge students to put off studying.

Solve ICSE 10th, ISC 12th Specimen Paper Semester 2 and Previous Years Papers

Practice makes perfect. Even though perfection cannot be achieved, students can secure a full score if they solve previous years' papers or specimen papers. Having solved every kind of question and question paper imaginable does give students a wide spectrum of knowledge, thereby increasing their chances of acing each and every question, no matter how difficult or critical in nature.

Making Short Notes

While studying, make notes of all the important notes and formulas. These can be referred to before exam day. This way students are working on three of the most important aspects of the learning process at once. They will be learning to think and frame sentences as they write, they are increasing their writing speed, by making notes that they can revisit later for the purpose of revision.

While making a study plan, always keep a tab that students are taking out a sufficient amount of time for breaks. If students follow the tips mentioned above and study in an orderly fashion, they can achieve a level of brilliance that they haven't known before.
