JAC 10th result 2025 live update: Grace Marks policy
In order to pass a student, the Jharkhand Academic Council awards grace marks based on the following guidelines:
- If a student fails a subject by no more than 5% of the total marks, they may receive up to 5% in that subject.
- If a student fails two topics by a maximum of 3% of the total marks in each subject, they may receive up to 3% in each of those courses.
- if a student fails to receive five or more marks to secure a higher division and has not used any of the grace marks provided in points one and two. After that, the student receives the necessary grace points to advance to the next division.
