Jharkhand Board Exam 2020 commences for Matric and Intermediate students

Jharkhand Academic Council has commenced the Jharkhand Board Class 10 and 12 examinations today. The examinations will conclude ion February 28, 2020.

JAC Matric Intermediate Exam commences

JAC Matric Intermediate Exam 2020: Jharkhand Academic Council has commenced the Jharkhand Board Class 10 and 12 examinations today. The Board examination is being conducted for the Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) students across 1,410 centres in the state. The class 10 and 12 Jharkhand Board examinations are scheduled to conclude on February 28, 2020.

According to the schedule released, the Jharkhand Board Matric examination is being conducted in the first session from 9:45 AM to 1 PM while the Intermediate examinations will be conducted in the second session from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Candidates appearing for the examination are advised to carry their JAC Class 12 board examination admit card with them to the examination centre.

The extra 15 minutes provided in the schedule is for the students to go through the question paper thoroughly before beginning the examination.  While the Jharkhand Board started with the Home science examination today the Class 12 students will begin with the Vocational papers. The last examination for the JAC class 10 students is Sanskrit which will be held on February 28, 2020, and the Class 12 JAC examination will conclude with the Biology, Geography and Business Mathematics papers on February 28, 2020.

JAC secretary Mahip Kumar Singh on Monday had claimed that the board has reviewed as to whether the question papers and answer sheets have reached the examination centres and as per information received no complaints have yet been registered for any parts of the state.

As per reports, close to 387,021 will be appearing for the class 10 examination at 940 exam centres while 234,363 will be appearing for the JAC intermediate examination across 470 examination centres. With an aim to prevent cheating incidents during the examination checking will be conducted at different levels which include checking the students before entering the examination centre and before entering the examination classroom.
