The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has officially announced the Kerala SSLC SAY Exam Date 2025 on its website, sslcexam.kerala.gov.in. The Kerala Class 10 SAY (Save A Year) exams will be conducted in two shifts each day. The morning session will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM, while the afternoon session will be held from 1:45 PM to 3:30 PM.

As per the official notification, all head superintendents of the SAY examination centres are instructed to download the hall tickets for students from the Pareeksha Bhavan website. These hall tickets must be distributed to the students before May 27, 2025, to ensure they are well-prepared and aware of their exam schedule in advance.

Kerala Say Exam Timing

The Kerala Class 10 SAY Exam 2025 will be held in two shifts each day. The first shift will run from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM, and the second shift will be from 1:45 PM to 3:30 PM. According to the official notice, the chief superintendents of SAY exam centres must download the hall tickets from the official website and give them to the students by May 27, 2025.

The notice also mentions that SAY exam certificates will be given to students through the headmasters of their schools. If a student does not collect their certificate within three months after the result is declared, the certificate should be returned by registered post to the Secretary of the Examination Office.

Students who want to appear for the Kerala SSLC SAY (Save A Year) exam in 2025 must meet certain conditions:

  • Only those who appeared for the March 2025 SSLC exam in the regular stream (SGC, ARC, CCC, RAC) can apply.
  • Students who did not get at least a D+ grade in three subjects in the March 2025 exam and lost their eligibility for higher studies can take the SAY exam.
  • Students who missed up to three subjects in the March 2025 exam due to valid reasons (like illness or emergencies) are also allowed to appear.
  • Those who had cancelled their registration for the March 2025 SSLC exam are eligible.
  • Students who could not complete the exam due to serious issues like accidents, major illness, or the death of a parent or sibling can take the exam in more than three subjects, but they must submit valid proof from a local authority or a government doctor.

NOTE: Revaluation is not allowed for SAY exams. If a student got special concessions under the IED category in March 2025, they will continue to get those benefits in the SAY exam too, only if they attach the required order from the Directorate of General Education.
