LSAT India 2020 online exams

LSAT India 2020: The Law School Admission Council has announced that the LSAT India will not be conducted in the offline mode. According to reports, the entrance examinations will be conducted in the online mode for the first time. The examinations will not be conducted in an examinations centre but instead, students will be able to take the examinations from their home or a location of their choice. 

With the COVID-19 lockdown in place in the country, the online examinations conducted traditionally will not be possible which is why all the LSAT candidates will be able to take the test online using an online test delivery system with artificial intelligence assisted remote proctoring t keep the integrity and validity of the examinations intact.

LSAT India 2020 examination dates 

According to the dates available on the official website, the LSAT India examinations will be conducted on June 14, 2020. The Pen and paper mode LSAT India examinations were earlier scheduled to be conducted on June 7, 2020.

LSAC’s President & CEO Kellye Testy while speaking about the latest development of the examination, said that the online LSAT India examinations will contain questions which have been developed and tested in accordance with the standard and processes of the examination and will also provide a fair opportunity for the candidates appearing for the examinations to demonstrate their skills and continue their course. 

The Law School Admission Council also insists that a data forensic programme will be implemented to make sure the standards of the tests are maintained while the online exams are conducted. 

Procedure of the examination

Before appearing for the examinations, each of the candidates will be required to complete the virtual check-in process which includes enhanced identification and authentication procedures for the candidates.

After completing the identification process the candidates will be able to take the test using the secured browser. A web camera will record the examinations which will be provided using the AI-Assisted technology. In case a candidate is found cheating, the examinations will be considered invalid. 

Information related to the procedure of taking the online examinations will be sent individually to the candidates after the registration process is completed.
