NEET Paper Leak 2024: The Supreme Court has denied holding the declaration of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) results. The apex court was hearing the plea to readminister the exam following the allegations of question paper leakage.
A Bench of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala, and Justice Manoj Misra stated that they cannot hold the results of an All India Examination. However, it issued a notice to the central government seeking its response to the plea.
"We will keep it after the summer break, but cannot stay the results of an all-India exam," the Court said.
NEET Paper Leak 2024: Question Paper Revealed in Rajasthan, Patna Before Test
Vanshika Yadav filed the plea through Advocate Sunny Kadian. As per the petition, during the NEET UG 2024 exam in Rajasthan, some reports from national dailies disclosed that the question paper was leaked before the exam date and wrong question papers were handed over to the candidates creating confusion.
"More concerning incidents have been seen at Patna, Bihar wherein numerous individuals have been apprehended by the State police on credible information of such accused having received the question paper a day prior to the said examination," the plea alleged.
