MCC will commence Round 1 registration from tomorrow i.e. October 12, 2026, for NEET PG Counselling 2026. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will open the registration window on its official website, mcc.nic.in, and candidates can apply till October 21, 2026. This counselling is conducted for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in central universities, deemed universities and ESIC institutes. Every candidate who has qualified the exam can register online and take part in Round 1 admission for MD, MS and other PG medical courses. MCC has released the complete NEET PG Counselling 2026 schedule for Round 1. The registration and payment window will stay open for ten days, and the first seat allotment result will be out within two weeks of the process starting.

Steps to Apply for NEET PG Counselling 2026
Registration for NEET PG Counselling 2026 is fully online and takes only a few minutes if the documents are ready. Candidates should apply early instead of waiting for the last date, as the official portal usually sees heavy traffic closer to the deadline.
- Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
- Click on the PG Medical Counselling section on the homepage.
- Under the candidate activity section, click the NEET PG 2026 counselling registration link.
- Select the “New Registration” option.
- Fill in the required details and create your login credentials.
- Complete the counselling application form.
- Upload the scanned copies of the required documents.
- Pay the registration fee and security deposit, as applicable.
- Submit the form and save the confirmation page for future reference.

MD, MS Closing Ranks: Where to Check
No closing rank data for this year is out yet, as the admission process has not begun. Candidates who want a reference point can check the round-wise seat allotment PDFs of the previous AIQ counselling on mcc.nic.in. These PDFs carry the course-wise and college-wise last ranks admitted in each round for MD and MS seats. The opening and closing ranks of Round 1 this year will also be published in the same manner once the allotment result is released on October 24.
