Various Options Being Considered By the Board
With a week already gone-by after the cancellation of Class 10 and 12 Exam of Rajasthan Board, students have been eagerly waiting for the announcement of the evaluation criteria. To facilitate this process, the board is consulting several experts and stakeholders to arrive at an assessment formula that is fair to all the students, as per media reports. Currently, there are two or three options that have been proposed for evaluation of Class 10 and 12 students of Rajasthan Board. These include:
- Average Marks of Previous Classes: The first option for declaration of RBSE 10th and 12th Result 2021 is to consider the average marks of the previous three classes for the compilation of the board exam results. In this case, for Class 10 Results, average marks of Class 7, 8 and 9 would be considered, whereas for Class 12 Results, average marks of Class 9, 10 and 11 would be taken into account.
- Internal Marks of Class 10 and 12: Majority of the state boards and even the CBSE and ICSE are planning to use internal marks secured by students in the previous exams held during the year at school level to arrive at the final Board Result. Rajasthan Board is also considering this as an option to prepare RBSE Class 10 and 12 Results 2021.
- Based on Result of Previous Board Exams: Rajasthan Board also hold board Exams at Class 5 and Class 9 level and experts have suggested that marks secured by students in these board exams can also be considered to prepare the final result for Class 10 and 12 students.
Students should note that these three evaluation criteria are only at the proposal stage and no final decision has been taken by the RBSE with regards to RBSE 10th and 12th Result 201 evaluation criteria. The board is expected to take a final decision on the same soon and will notify it formally via its website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
