Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has stated that Skill Development subjects will be implemented for the students from class 9 to 12 to support students in becoming self-reliant. The state CM while addressing an event in Haryana School Education Board campus stated that the subject of skill development will be implemented compulsory from classes 9 to 12 so that the youth of the state are self-reliant in all aspects.
According to media reports, CM Khattar has appraised the policies introduced in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 stating that along with education and employment the main goal is to make the student's cultures and self-reliant so that they can make significant contributions in making India a global leader.
Skill Development University
Haryana is the first state to set up a skill development university in Palwal. The state CM emphasized the continuous efforts of the state in providing students with a self-reliant study environment and facilities. The central and state governments are also working on the increased implementation of Skill education which helps students in getting ready for employment easily.
Manohar Lal Khattar also interacted with students after inaugurating astronomy labs set up on the premises of the Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School and the Government Girls Senior Secondary School.
As skill development education is implemented in schools, students will be trained and educated in a way that they get employment and are able to develop skills that make them more self-reliant.
