TANCET 2024 Exam: Anna University will conduct the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2024 today, March 9, 2024, for admission to MBA, and MCA courses. According to the official schedule, TANCET 2024 MCA exam will be conducted in the morning shift from 10 am to 12 noon while the exam for MBA courses will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
TANCET exam 2024 will be held at 15 examination centres including Chennai, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Dindigul, Erode, Karaikudi, Madurai, Nagercoil, Salem, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, Vellore, Villupuram, and Bargur.
TANCET 2024: Exam Pattern
An MBA question paper will assess a candidate's ability to recognize information and apply it to make business decisions in typical business situations. It will also evaluate their ability to respond to questions based on comprehension passages and solve graduate-level mathematical problems, including those that require knowledge of plus two or equivalent.
Meanwhile, for the MCA exam paper, there will be questions on computer awareness, logical thinking, numeric ability, and analytical ability. Both MBA and MCA papers will consist of 100 questions each. Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
TANCET 2024: Key Guidelines For Students
Candidates appearing for the TANCET 2024 must go through the following instructions.
- Candidates are required to reach the examination centre at least one hour before the commencement of the entrance exam
- Candidates must carry their TANCET Admit Card 2024 and a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre
- Aspirants are allowed to carry only basic stationery items such as blue pens and black pens
- Electronic devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smart watches, or electronic watches are prohibited inside the exam hall
