The Directorate of Technical Education will announce the Supplementary Counselling provisional allotment result today, September 9, 2026. Candidates who confirmed their allotment after the tentative allotment result was announced can download the TNEA provisional allotment result through the link on the official website.

Further instructions regarding reporting to allotted colleges will be provided along with the provisional allotment. Candidates allotted seats in the TNEA supplementary counselling must download the allotment letter and report to the allotted colleges with all necessary documents. Candidates must also carry originals and photocopies of all relevant documents.

TNEA Supplementary Counselling 2026: Reporting to Allotted Colleges

Candidates allotted seats in the supplementary counselling must report to the allotted colleges with all required documents. Candidates also need to download the allotment letter from the candidate login. The allotment letter will include important details of the candidate along with their allotment details. The list of documents required for admission is given below

• 11th Mark Sheet

• 12th Mark Sheet or equivalent

• Transfer Certificate (TC) from your last studied institution

• Aadhaar Card or another valid photo ID

Will Another Supplementary Counselling Round be Conducted?

TNEA is conducting a supplementary round for admissions to remaining vacant seats under each category in institutions across Tamil Nadu. After the reporting is conducted for the ongoing supplementary counselling round, the colleges will release details of vacant seats, if any. Based on this, further decisions regarding conducting another cunselling round to fill up vacant seats will be taken by the conducting body.
