Tripura Board Madhyamik Result 2019: As per media reports, TBSE 10th Re-evaluation Results announced by the Tripura Board recently has resulted into major changes in the merit list announced earlier. The revise result published by Tripura Board for TBSE Madhyamik Exam 2019 has resulted into 6 more students being featured in the top 10 merit list announced earlier. The revised TBSE Madhyamik Results 2019 were announced by the Tripura Board after re-evaluation and review as well as self-inspection of the initial report.
Revised Merit List Published
Following the declaration of re-evaluation results, six new students have been included as part of the merit list based on the updated marks awarded to them. In the updated merit list, Arkajyoti Debnath of Belonia Government English Medium School has been allotted 5th Merit Rank with existing rank holders. Similarly, for 7th Rank, Sayan Majumder and Sayantika Chakraborty have been nominated based on revised marks while Maanjit Majumder has secured 9th Rank. From Kamalpur Government English Medium School, Debraj Roy has secured 8th Rank as per revised results while Pratiti Majumder of Shishu Bihar Girls Higher Secondary School has bagged the 10th position.

Major Different in Marks after review
While releasing the new merit list for Madhyamik Results 2019, TBSE president Dr Bhabatosh Saha Friday said that around 5,000 students applied for review of the marks allotted to them in the March Examination 2019. Of these, around 80 were unhappy with the review as well as they applied for self-assessment. All the 6 students who have made it to the revised merit list were part of the self-assessment group. He further added, that while minor different in the evaluation outcome between teachers is acceptable, major changes were not welcomed. He also added that students whose marks have been altered drastically during re-evaluation, review and self-assessment will be looked into carefully by the board.

As per the official numbers shared by the TBSE, a total of 44,747 candidates appeared for the Tripura Board Madhyamik Exam 2019. Of the total number, 20,911 were male and 23,836 were female students. The exams were held from 2nd March 2019 to 28th March 2019 at 76 exam centres spread across the state. Tripura Madhyamik Results 2019 were announced on 8th June 2019 in which 64.60 per cent of all students, passed the examination.
