West Bengal Madhyamik Results 2017 declared, Anwesa Pyne grabs top spot with 98.57 percentage

Kolkata: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has declared the results of the West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2017 today. The declaration of the result has sealed the fate of 11 lakh students. The formal announcement of the result was made from Nivedita Bhavan, the office of West Bengal Board.  The West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2017 is now live on the official website of the board i.e. www.wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.org. Students can also check their West Bengal Class 10 Results 2017 online on wb10.jagranjosh.com. This year a total number of 980355 students have appeared for the examination out of which 839738 managed to pass the examination taking the pass percentage to 85.65 %. Anwesa Pyne topped the examination with 690 marks followed by Mojammel Haque with                  689 and Anirban Khanra with 689 marks.

Over 11 lakh students have received their West Bengal Class 10 Results 2017. After the official declaration, the board has also begun the distribution of marksheets and students may collect their marksheets from their respective schools.

Compared to last year, the WBBSE 2017 Results for class 10 results are going to be declared almost a week later. In 2016, the West Bengal Madhyamik Results came out on 10th May in which 82.74% students managed to clear the exam with good marks.
