AFCAT 2 Apply Online Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for AFCAT 2 candidate should be have passed 10+2 and a graduate degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent
Age Limit: The age limit for each post varies; check the branch wise age limit and educational qualifications
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA For Ground Duty (Technical) Branches
- Age: 20 to 26 years (at the time of commencement, of course)
- Nationality: Indian
- Marital Status: Candidates should be unmarried.
- Short Service Commission, both Men and Women.
Note: Final year students are eligible to apply, provided they do not have any present backlog and have secured a minimum of 60% marks up to the last semester or year at the time of AFSB testing and they produce a provisional or original degree issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA For Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches
- Age: 20 to 26 Years for Graduates and postgraduates (at the time of commencement of course).
- Marital Status: Candidates must be Unmarried.
- Nationality: Indian.
- Gender: both men and women.
AFCAT ENTRY (SSC FOR MEN AND WOMEN): FLYING BRANCH
Age: 20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement, of course). upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years (at the time of commencement, of course).

Gender: men and women.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
OR
BE/B Tech degree (four-year course) from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examinations of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Steps to Apply Online for AFCAT 2
All eligible candidates planning to appear in the AFCAT 2 exam must submit the application form by the deadline. The AFCAT application form comprises two parts, i.e., registration and the online application form. Aspirants can follow the steps shared below to apply online for the exam with ease.
Step 1: Go to the official AFCAT website, i.e., afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT
Step 2: Click the “candidate login” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Hit the AFCAT 2/2024 button and click on signup button
Step 4: Fill out the online form with personal details, educational details, and other details in the required fields.
Step 6: Now, upload the scanned copies of passport-size photographs and signatures in the online form.
Step 7: Pay the application fees through the given payment mode, i.e., credit or debit card, Net Banking, UPI, etc.
Step 8: Download and take a printout of the submitted AFCAT application form for future use.
