All India Institute of Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare), Mumbai invites application from the eligible candidates for filling up of Medical Teaching/Non Teaching specialist on purely contractual basis for the period of one year. The All India Institute of Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation is one of the well equipped Rehabilitation Centers comprising of the Main Block which houses the O.P.D. Complex, 'State of Art ', Operation Theatres and a Post operative Recovery Room, High Tech Prosthetics and Orthotics Fabrication Department including CAD CAM, advanced Physiotherapy Services, Students' Hostel and Guest Rooms.

Essential Qualification & Experience

• For Anesthetist  

Essential:

(i) A recognized M.B.B.S. qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licenciate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (M. D. (Anaesthesiology)/ M. S. (Anaesthesiology)/D.A.) in the concerned speciality or equivalent and DNB qualifications would need to get their qualification verified by NBE as to whether it is as per the requirement of the Gazette notification No. MCI-12(2)/2010-Med. Misc. dated 11.06.2012 and produce such verification certificates at the time of Interview.

Experience:

(i) Three years experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree.OR

(ii) 05 years experience after obtaining the Post Graduate Diploma.

• For Physician

Essential

(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Post-graduate degree in General Medicine mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule–VI or equivalent.
Experience

(iii) Three years experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the Post-graduate degree.

• For Assistant Professor (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation):

Essential

(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First and second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the Third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Post-graduate degree qualification in the speciality i.e MD (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)/Diploma in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation given by National Board of Examination/2 years Diploma course in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation after obtaining MD (Medicine)/MS (Surgery)/ MD (Pediatrics)/MS (Orthopedic) or any other equivalent qualification.

Experience

(iii) Three years teaching experience in a recognised institution as Lecturer/Tutor/Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident after obtaining requisite Post-graduate degree qualification.

Age Limit

Age Limit for the candidate should not exceeding 45 years as on the date of advertisement.

Pay Scale/Salary  

Consolidated Monthly Remuneration of Rs. 65,000/- Per Month.

(ii) If candidate is already employed, required ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer should be enclosed alongwith application.

(iii) The original certificates should be produced at the time of interview.

(iv) The application alongwith bio-data in prescribed proforma and copies of certificates should reach to the Director, AIIPMR, Mumbai–34 on or before the closing date i.e. 01 February 2014.
