Andhra Pradesh Government increases age limit for applicants

In a move to provide opportunity to more youth, the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has increased the age limit for all competitive examinations. The upper age limit is now 40 years.

In a move to provide opportunity to more youth, the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has increased the age limit for all competitive examinations. The upper age limit is now 40 years.

Earlier the maximum age limit for recruitment was 34 years. This age relaxation benefit of 06 years is surely going to benefit those lakh of candidates who have crossed 34 years. In addition to this, many other amendments have also been done by the government.

However 06 years age relaxation won’t be applicable to uniform jobs like police. AP government has given 02 year relief to such job aspirants. In other words, maximum age limit for police job aspirants will be 36 years.

These norms will be effective from 30 September 2017 and recruiting agencies will be required to follow it including Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission and leading Universities.

Recently, APPSC had notified of 750 vacancies and the recruitment procedure is still going on. Recruitment notifications of other organizations are also on their way of reaching to aspirants.
