Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat will be conducting Walk –in- Interview and invites eligible candidates to appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the posts of Research Associate/ Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and other posts for a various projects. Posts are purely on Temporary Basis and co- terminus with the project. The eligible candidates may appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the respective posts on the allotted dates for the specific posts on 17 November 2016 (Thursday) & 01 December 2016 (Thursday) at 10:30 AM onwards in the Office of the Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam Agricultural University RA/SRF and Other Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

1. Research Associate/ SRF: Possess Master’s Degree in the respective discipline of Agriculture and knowledge of Computer Applications.
2. Field Investigator: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the Agriculture with knowledge of Computer Applications
3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Possess Master’s Degree in the respective discipline.
4. Technical Assistant: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate field.

Experience Required:  having 01/ 02 years (whichever applicable) of relevant post- qualification experience in the concerned field for the respective posts.

Selection Procedure for Assam Agricultural University RA/SRF and Other Jobs:

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Walk –in- Interview/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
