Bank of Maharashtra announced final result for recruitment of 242 Probationary Officers on 7 July 2012. The list of these provisionally selected candidates was prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Common Written Examination (CWE) and interview held.

The bank had already dispatched individual Offer Letters to the selected candidates and had asked them to convey their willingness to join the bank by 27 July 2012. Selected candidates are required to join their respective Zonal Offices, at the address mentioned in the addendum, on 1 August 2012.

Bank of Maharashtra was registered on 16 September, 1935 and started its operations in Pune on 8 February, 1936 under the leadership of Prof VG Kale. The bank had notified recruitment of 457 Probationary Officers (PO) on 18 February 2012 for which the interviews were conducted between 4 June and 8 June 2012.
