    The Delhi government will conduct the Delhi TET 2019 exam in the month of March 2019 tentatively. Through Delhi TET exam, candidates will be recruited on primary & upper primary teaching posts in Delhi state government schools. There are lakhs of candidates, who enroll for this exam. Hence, the Delhi TET exam preparation becomes very crucial. In any exam preparation, Books are the most vital constituent and candidate find themselves in a critical situation when it comes in choosing the right books.     Delhi TET Exam Pattern

    The Delhi TET exam like any other teaching exam will be conducted in two papers i.e. paper-1 & paper-2 in offline mode. Both papers will contain MCQs having four options. Out of these options, only one will be correct. The description of paper-1 & paper-2 is given below-

    • Paper-1:  It is compulsory for those aspirants, who have applied for the primary teaching posts to teach for classes 1-5 in the Delhi government schools.
    • Paper-2: It is mandatory for those aspirants, who want to be a teacher for classes 6-8.

    There may some candidates, who wish to be a teacher for both levels (primary classes & upper primary classes). Such candidates need to appear in both papers and they have to attain the minimum qualifying marks.

    Important points to consider:

    • There will be 150 MCQs in both papers.
    • Each question will have a weight of 1 mark.
    • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
    • The maximum time duration for both papers will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

    Language-I & II   

    Language- I & II are optional subjects and generally chosen by candidates as per their interest, expertise & comfort.     Environmental Studies

    Environmental Studies section carries the same weight (no. of questions & marks) to other sections. There will be 30 questions of 30 marks that will be asked in the Delhi TET exam.
