Indian Navy has invited applications for the recruitment of Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) and Artificer Apprentice (AA) Sailors posts. The total number of vacancies for these two posts is 2700. Candidates who have passed their class 12th exam from a recognized board and are good in physical and mental state can apply for the Sailor Post.
In the meantime, Indian Navy provides good job prospect for class 12th passed students. Out of 2700 vacancies, 2200 openings are Indian Navy SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) and 500 for Indian Navy AA (Artificer Apprentice).
Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) post should have passed class 12th board exam with Mathematics and Physics, and at-least one of these subjects: Biology/Chemistry/Computer Science from a government recognized university.
In addition, for Artificer Apprentice (AA) posts candidates should have passed class 12th exam with 60% overall marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a government recognized university.
