Details of the Post

**If suitable candidates are not found eligible for the post in E2 grade, the candidates with MBBS and 2 years DMRD may be considered for the post of Medical Officer (Radiology) in the E1 grade.

***If suitable candidates are not found eligible for the post in E2 grade, the candidates with MBBS and AFIH may be considered for the post of Medical Officer (OHS) in the E1 grade.

Post Qualification Work Experience: All candidates applying for the above posts must possess a minimum ONE year POST QUALIFICATION experience in hospital of not less than 100 BEDS.

All candidates applying for the above posts related to ICU at Sl. No 06 & 07 must possess a minimum ONE year POST QUALIFICATION experience in the ICU/ ICCU section from hospital of not less than 100 BEDS.

Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be placed at the minimum of the scale. The scale of pay for E1 Grade is Rs 24,900-50,500 and for E2 Grade is Rs 29,100-54,500.

Selection Procedure: Selection Process will comprise of Interview of eligible candidates for E2 grade in the ratio of 1:8 on the basis of the percentage of the MBBS degree marks.

For the purpose of selection for the post of Medical Officer (E1), if the number of eligible applicants for posts is in the ratio of up to 1:8 of the number of posts, only the personal interview shall be conducted. However, if the number of eligible candidates for the posts exceeds the ratio of 1:8, written test will be conducted and candidates will be invited for Personal interview in the ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies in order of merit on the basis of their performance in the written test.

Application Fee: Application fee for General and OBC (Non Creamy layer) category candidates is of Rs 250 and no fee will charged from SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates.

The fee can be paid in any of the branches of State Bank of India to the Power Jyoti Account No. 30989466064 at SBI, SECTOR 5A (Code No. 0586) in favor of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, HARIDWAR.

The triplicate Challan for payment of Examination and processing fee of Rs 250 can be downloaded from the website.
