Essential Qualifications: An eminent scholar in relevant subject with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with 10 years of experience in postgraduate teaching, and /or experience in research at the University / National level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level.
In exceptional cases, teachers with 15 years of UG teaching / research experience could be considered.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.
Candidates must bring all the original documents at the time of interview, failing which they will be disqualified
Selected candidate will be required to submit a bond for serving the University for at least three years on non-judicial stamp paper at the time of joining.
Finally appointed candidate can be transferred to any equivalent post within the jurisdiction of the University.
Application Fees: Non-refundable application fees has to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 450 (for General / BC / EBC / RCF candidates) / Rs. 150 (for SC / ST candidates of Bihar) drawn in favour of ‘The Comptroller, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour (Bhagalpur)’ payable at ‘State Bank of India, Sabour Branch (Code no. 11805)’.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with fee DD and all relevant documents / testimonials only through Registered post / Speed post / Courier post to ‘The Officer-In-Charge (Recruitment), Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour-813210 (Bhagalpur)’ so as to reach the said office on or before 16 November 2013 up to 1700 hours.

Candidates from outside India may apply on prescribed form downloaded from the website www.bausabour.ac.in. However, they have to submit the required fee in the form of demand draft before the commencement of the Interview.
Note: Candidates who have applied earlier for Vacancy for University Professor-cum-Chief Scientist for PG Departments of BAU Sabour advertised earlier vide Advt. No. - 02/2013 dated 20.03.2013 have to apply again now. Those who have applied for Backlog Vacancies under the advertisement need not to apply again.
Candidates applying for multiple disciplines will have to apply separately with separate application fees for each discipline applied.
On top of the envelope, candidates must mention the advt. no. and name of the post with discipline applied for.
