Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission Notified Recruitment for 11 Various Posts 2014

Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission (BERC), Patna invited applications for filing up 11 different posts on contract/ deputation/ direct recruitment basis. Vacancy Details

Total vacancies: 11 posts

1. Deputy Director (Engg.-Distr. Tarif): 1 post

Pay Scale: Pay band of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs.7600 per month

Qualifications: Graduate in Electrical/ Power Eng.

For deputation/ contract/ direct recruitment: Officers holding analogous post on regular basis or with 3 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs.6600 or equivalent or with 5 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs.5400 or equivalent.

2. Staff Consultant: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.35000 per month (consolidated)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical) with experience of 5 years

Candidates with PG qualification will be preferred.

3. Accounts Assistant: 1 post

Pay Scale: Pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.2400 per month

Qualifications: Commerce graduate

For deputation/ contract/ direct recruitment: Officers holding analogous post on regular basis or with 3 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs.6600 or equivalent or with 5 years regular service in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.2000 or equivalent.

4. Peon: 8 posts

Pay Scale: Pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.1800 per month

Qualifications: 10th (Matric) pass or equivalent with good physique and experience in office work and knowledge of Cycling.

Maximum Age Limit: for all posts (as on 1 January 2014)

For Male candidates: 37 years

For Female candidates: 40 years

[For Backward Class/ Externally Backward Class candidates: 40 years (Male and Female); for SC/ ST category candidates: 42 years (Male and Female)]

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Test/ Interview.

Eligible shortlisted candidates will have to appear for test/ interview.

Candidates appearing for the test/ Interview will have to produce all certificates/ documents in original for verification.
