BITS ,Pilani with BITS Alumni Association Launched BITS Connect 2.0

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani in partnership with the BITS Alumni Association launched BITS Connect 2.0, a cross campus technology initiative.

The aim is to strengthen and aid the deemed to be university’s emphasis on research , also Pilani envisions to reach amongst the top , research driven universities of Asia by 2020.

The BitsConnect 2.0 will allow students, faculty as well as employers to interact in real time. BITSConnect 2.0, includes immersive telepresence, high-definition video conferencing and live streaming technologies, the university aims to bridge geographical distances across its four campuses and global knowledge centres.

It also plans to facilitate collaboration among faculty, students, industry partners and alumni for education, research, consultation and mentorship.
