BSNL JE Recruitment 2016: Online Application has begun, Important facts for candidates

BSNL JE recruitment 2016 application process has begun. Candidates can now submit their applications against 2700 vacancies. The last date to submit the application is 10 August 2016.

BSNL jobs are available in all the territorial and functional circles of the organization. The Junior Engineer post is a circle based cadre and the candidates will be selected against the vacancies available in a particular circle. Therefore, before applying for the job, candidates should be thoroughly aware of the circle/ state wise vacancies available for the JE post.

BSNL has begun the online application process for recruitment to Junior Engineer post. Candidates can submit their applications till 10 August 2016. Candidates can submit their online application till 10 August 2016 along with application fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates). BSNL seeks application from candidates with three years Engineering Diploma/ BTech/ BE in Telecommunications/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Radio/ Computer/ Instrumentation/ Information Technology OR BSc (Electronics)/ BSc (Computer Science) OR MSc (Electronics) can apply for the post. In addition to this, candidates must be more than 18 years and less than 30 years as on 10 August 2016. Upper age relaxation for the reserved categories can be found from below.

Selection for BSNL JE recruitment will be through written test/ interview. The online examination will be objective type and will carry a total of 200 marks. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. The examination will be of three hours duration (10.00 am to 01.00 pm). The examination will comprise of three papers: Paper I/ General ability test (20 marks), Paper II/ Basic Engineering (90 marks), Paper III / Specialization (90 marks). Candidates should note that the minimum qualifying marks in each of the paper will be 30% (OC category) and 20% (OBC/SC/ST category). The minimum qualifying marks in aggregate will be 40% (OC category) and 33% (OBC/SC/ST category).
